Set Up
Voice Mail is an electronic voice messaging system that is convenient and dependable. It allows you to receive messages when your line is busy or when you are away from home.
To set up your Voice Mail box:
1. Access your mailbox by calling the system access number (XXX-6245) For example: Kanab 644-6245, Milford 387-6245, Bicknell 425-6245.
2. Create a 4-digit password if you want to receive messages from other locations.
To create your personalized password:
1. Press 9 on main menu to set up your mailbox.
2. Press 2 to create or change your password.
3. Enter your very own secret password using the telephone number pad, the press the # button.
4. Enter the same password, then the # button. Your password is entered.
5. You may record a personalized greeting or use the standard greeting.
To record your own personalized greeting:
1. Press 9 on the main menu to set up your mailbox.
2. Press 1 to record your greeting.
3. Press 4 to begin recording your greeting.
4. Press the # button when you are finished recording.
5. If you wish to review your greeting, press 1.
6. When you are satisfied with your greeting, press * to return to the main menu, your personalized greeting is set up.
Accessing Voice Mail
To access your Voice Mail mailbox from your home phone:
1. Dial *99
2. Enter your security code.
If you are accessing your Voice Mail mailbox from another phone:
1. Call the access number (XXX-MAIL).
2. Enter your mailbox number: This will be your home phone number including area code.
3. Press #.
4. Enter your security code.
5. You will now hear the mailbox summary.
To play Messages:
1. Press 1 on the main menu to retrieve your messages.
2. Press 2 to keep the message just played pressing 1 again saves it as a new message.
3. Press 5 to delete the message just played.
4. To return to the main menu, press *.
Before you hang up, you can change a message you deleted to a saved message by pressing 2 during the message after pressing 1 to replay your messages.
